Street Smash Burgers is looking for an Accountant for our Italian company, in Milan.
This isn't your usual accounting job. Here you'll build the foundations of Street's numbers in Italy: day-to-day bookkeeping (prima nota), VAT, revenue from stores opening one after another. You'll work closely with Headquarters and with AI and automation tools in your daily work (yes, in accounting too). A bit of everything. And that's how we like it.
Role Scope:
Design and assess layouts for new openings in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Switzerland, following the Street Smash standard unit, and make sure each site is technically, operationally and economically viable. Give Expansion the documentation it needs to decide and negotiate quickly, and support Construction in developing the architectural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce layouts quickly for new openings and expansion opportunities
Enforce the Street Smash architecture and interior design manual, adapted to each format: street, shopping mall and food court
Run a first technical, operational and cost feasibility check on each site: dining room, ordering/pick-up line, kitchen, storage and service areas
Prepare clear plans and technical documentation for go/no-go decisions and for negotiations with landlords and mall operators
Apply planning, activity-licence and F&B regulations in ES/PT/IT/CH (smoke extraction, occupancy, toilets, accessibility, protected façades, terraces) as well as mall tenant technical manuals
Spot critical points on floor plans and propose solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer/staff flows
Keep the technical office's block libraries, templates and construction details up to date
Manage the department's design and construction technical data
Key Requirements:
Degree in Technical Architecture or Architecture
Proven experience in restaurant layouts and fit-outs (QSR / restaurant chains); retail roll-out or commercial technical office experience is a plus
Advanced AutoCAD; SketchUp is a plus
Knowledge of planning and activity-licence regulations for restaurants; experience in other European markets is a plus
Able to estimate technical feasibility and approximate fit-out costs quickly
Good English, mandatory; Portuguese, Italian, German or French is a plus
Fast-paced, autonomous, available for occasional travel
